a Chinese New Year Dota 2 update is coming soon, packed with new items and skins.
Valve put out a call for item artists to submit “Chinese new year themed items” to the workshop. The items are going to be part of a Chinese new year event taking place in Dota 2 near the end of January. Users can vote on what items they’d like to see included in the game by exploring the Dota 2 workshop and voting.
Dota 2 is a free-to-play MOBA title that brings in millions of players each month. It is also apart of the deep and engaging Steam trading economy, where players buy and sell items from eachother. Dota can be downloaded for free on Steam.
